These playful trousers were inspired by the playing card motifs popular in the 1920s and 30s.
Based on clover and card suit patterns found on antique tablecloths, these details are meticulously recreated with hand embroidery throughout.
The charming designs add a subtle individuality to a classic pair of trousers.
Crafted from supple cotton twill, the fabric has a moderate thickness and natural crispness. With a mid-rise, straight-leg, and refined silhouette, these trousers blend seamlessly into any outfit while exuding a quiet presence.

【BODE】
BODE is a menswear brand by female designer Emily Adams Bode, based in Manhattan, NY.
BODE transforms a wide variety of antique and unique textiles into classic and eye-catching workwear silhouettes.
Emily, who holds two degrees in Philosophy and Menswear Design, became the first female menswear designer to present a collection at New York Fashion Week Men's less than a year after establishing her brand in 2016.
During her studies, Emily honed her skills in sourcing and processing rare historical fabrics from around the world, eventually mastering the art of repurposing them.
Her collections are lovingly crafted, one by one, from various fabrics such as tablecloths made over 100 years ago, burlap sacks, Victorian-style bedsheets, and antique quilts.
This appreciation for historical patterns and fabrics stems from Emily's childhood vacations spent in Massachusetts and Atlanta.
