Gicipi was born in Padua, a city in northern Italy, in 1948. There are many fashion-related companies in this area, and many famous world brands have been produced here. At gicipi, the integrated factory has now become a valuable asset. Vintage machinery is still in use today, and all processes from patterning, cutting, sewing, and finishing are completed in-house. They handle everything from sourcing materials to knitting (production of knitted fabric), which is rare in Italy today.
