Inspired by traditional ancient Greek footwear, this model is a leather sandal featuring asymmetrical strap work that holds the instep.
The minimalist cut, which envelops the foot, combines aesthetic beauty with a secure hold and ease of walking when worn barefoot.
Black grain leather has a fine grain (unevenness) on its surface, giving it a very tough and expressive texture. It possesses a unique shading and depth not found in smooth leather, and within its stoic black tone, there is a somewhat organic, handcrafted warmth. Scratches and wrinkles are less noticeable, and as the leather is worn, it softens and ages, developing a deep, elegant sheen.
While its form is minimal, stripping away all unnecessary elements, the exquisite cutting of the upper, which cradles the foot, creates an excellent hold that reduces the floating sensation often associated with mules.
