【OLDMAN'S TAILOR】
OLDMAN'S TAILOR was founded in 2001 by husband and wife, Yuji and Toku Shimura. Based in Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture, it started from Toku's family's silk weaving business. The abundant spring water flowing from Mt. Fuji is used for yarn production, and fabrics are woven on traditional shuttle looms. The collections by the Shimura couple, who have deep knowledge of European, especially British, antiques and vintage clothing, are based on traditional British style and classic aesthetics, yet incorporate modern details and silhouettes, attracting many fans.
