英語でブランケットや毛布という意味を持つ「THROW」。
毛布につ包まれた時の心地良さや幸福感を感じて欲しいという思いから付けられました。
素材本来の表現を生かしたシンプルでジェンダーレスな物作りを目指し、
糸の選定から織り、染め、仕上げまでを尾州産地をはじめ全国の工場や職人と共に丁寧に作り上げられています。
デザイナーがファッション業界での経験の中で培ってきた知識とノウハウ、そこから生まれるアイデアを掛け合わせることでテキスタイルの新しい魅力と、洗練された雰囲気を引き出しています。

モンゴル産の2/26カシミア糸を使用し、 山形県寒河江市の工場で編み上げています。
あえて製品染めにすることでカシミアの風合いを損なわず、
仕上げに特殊な加工をすることで毛皮のような風合いを実現しています。

THROW means "blanket" or "blanket" in English.
The name "THROW" was derived from our wish that our customers feel a sense of comfort and happiness when wrapped in a blanket.
We aim to create simple and genderless products that make the most of the original expression of the materials,
From yarn selection to weaving, dyeing, and finishing, the products are carefully crafted in cooperation with factories and craftsmen from all over Japan, including the Bishu production area.
The knowledge and know-how that the designers have cultivated through their experience in the fashion industry and the ideas that come from this experience are combined to bring out new charms and a sophisticated atmosphere in the textiles.

The 2/26 cashmere yarn is produced in Mongolia and knitted at a factory in Sagae City, Yamagata Prefecture, Japan.
The cashmere's texture is preserved by product-dyeing,
The special finishing process gives it a fur-like texture.
