Founded in 2007 by father and son Yeshi, founders with roots in Tibet, Europe, and the United States. By commercializing textiles made from Tibet's treasured yak hair, they have created jobs in Tibetan villages and created a sustainable manufacturing system. The yak hair they use is so soft that it is called "down," and only 100 grams can be obtained from each yak. The characteristic of yak hair is that it has a wavy texture, which gives it an overwhelmingly high heat-retaining capacity compared to cashmere. The quality of yak hair is highly regarded around the world and is used by a large number of maison brands.
