COOHEM(코헨)은 「교편(고편)」에 유래하는 조어로, 야마가타현의 노포 니트 메이커 미토미섬유 주식회사의 팩토리 브랜드로서 2010 AUTUMN & WINTER로부터 스타트. 「교편」이란, 형상이 다른 복수의 소재를 조합해 뜨개질, 완전히 새로운 소재를 낳는 기술을 가리키고, 「COOHEM」은 이렇게 탄생한 니트 트위드라고 불리는 독자적인 텍스타일을 이용해, 완전히 새로운 트래디셔널 웨어 을 표현하고 있다. 고급 분석이 필요한 프로그래밍과 색상과 소재를 결합한 크리에이션의 융합. 그리고 기술과 경험을 겸비한 베테랑과 풍부한 감성과 상상력을 지닌 젊은이, 각각의 장인이 융합해 도전하는 새로운 물건 만들기. 표정도 착용감도, 보다 좋고 새롭고, 선명하고 팬시에. 모든 공정이 한 곳에서 완결되는 희귀한 팩토리에서 일본의 모노즈쿠리 문화를 세계에 발신하고 있다.

COOHEM is a coined word derived from "kohhen," and was launched in 2010 AUTUMN & WINTER as a factory brand of Yonetomi Textile, a long-established knit manufacturer in Yamagata Prefecture. COOHEM" expresses completely new traditional twill weed, which was created by combining multiple materials with different shapes and knitting to produce a completely new material. COOHEM" is a fusion of programming that requires advanced analysis and creation that combines colors and materials. The new manufacturing challenge is craftsmen with their skills and experience, and young craftsmen with their rich sensitivity and imagination. The expression and comfort of the garments are better, newer, more vivid, and fancier. From a rare factory where all processes are completed in one place, we are transmitting Korean manufacturing culture to the world.
