Seventy Five는 중국의 미의식의 역사에 뿌리를 둔 현대의 중국 패션이 어떤 것인지를 생각하고 있으며, 19세기 말부터 20세기 초의 중국의 기록 사진, 잡지, 일러스트레이션, 가족의 사진과 오럴 히스토리 그리고 우리 자신의 가족의 역사를 결합하여 중국의 미학과 정체성을 표현합니다.
Seventy Five 는 슬로우 패션의 철학을 실천에 도입하고 있다. 빈티지나 업사이클의 천을 사용해, 자사에서 천연 염료를 사용해, 윤리적으로 조달된 소재를 사용해, 오래도록 하는 옷을 생산하고 있다. 그렇게 함으로써 영감의 근원이 된 사람들과 추억만큼 오래 살아가는 옷을 만들려고 한다.
seventyfive is an artisanal fashion brand founded by Janny Jingyi Ye. At seventyfive , we design, create, and produce garments in our North London studio.
seventyfive considers what a contemporary Chinese fashion rooted in Chinese aesthetic history might look like. We engage with Chinese aesthetics and identity through a combination of late-19th and early-20th century archival photography, magazines, and illustration family history, as understood through family photos and oral history. The garments we create with seventyfive are a relationship between body, object, identity, and memory. In doing this, we take a research-led approach to fashion.
seventyfive integrates the philosophies of slow-fashion into its practice. We use vintage and upcycled fabrics, in-house natural dye, use ethically sourced materials, and produce garments that are meant to last. In doing this, we are att will live as long as the people and memories that inspired them.
