브랜드명은 1959년에 미국인 사회학자 도널드 프란시스 로이에 의해 발표된 논문 “BANANA TIME”에서 유래하고 있다. 이것은 일 사이에 약간의 브레이크를 넣어 기분 전환을 도모하고 새로 고침으로써 일의 효율이 올라간다는 논란.

The brand name is derived from the article "BANANA TIME" published by American sociologist Donald Francis Roy in 1959. The theory behind this is that taking a short break in between work activities can refresh you and make you feel refreshed
