EO was founded in California in 1995 by Brad Black and Susan Griffin Black.
Since there were no cosmetics around that could be safely used by children, they decided to make their own. Therefore, EO products have a lineup of total care products that can be used by the whole family, regardless of gender or age. All of them are comfortable things that make you feel the charm of plants casually in your daily life.
EO is the first company in the United States to obtain NON GMO certification for cosmetics. (The first product was registered in June 2011.)
NON GMO means "non-genetically modified", and companies with this certification have made a firm commitment not to use genetically modified plants in their products.
In recent years, mainly in the organic and natural market in the United States, there has been a growing movement to attach importance to non-GMO not only food products but also cosmetics, and many companies and manufacturers have obtained certification.
EO believes in the quality and safety of ingredients before the market takes notice.
