In 1961, two shirtmakers, John Laresca and George Zimmerman, founded a small shirt factory in Paterson, New Jersey.

By creating a program that each store can work on with confidence, sticking to the quality of the shirt, and providing established customer support, Individualized Shirts has grown to realize their vision. For over 60 years since then, Individualized Shirts has continued to be a custom shirt manufacturer that offers Made in USA. It is now the most successful custom shirt manufacturer in the United States. And to this day, all individualized shirts are sewn with outstanding skill and passion in our workshop in Perth Amboy, New Jersey.
