In 1961, two shirtmakers, John Laresca and George Zimmerman, started a small shirt factory in Paterson, New Jersey.
Their vision was clear: "To provide America's finest men's clothing stores with a custom shirt program that no one else could replicate." By creating a program that each store could work on with confidence, focusing on shirt quality, and providing established customer support, Individualized Shirts has grown to realize the vision of the two men. For over 60 years since then, Individualized Shirts has continued to be a custom shirt manufacturer offering Made in the USA. It has now become the most successful custom shirt manufacturer in the United States. Even today, all Individualized shirts are sewn with outstanding skill and passion in their workshop in Perth Amboy, New Jersey.
