INDIVIDUALIZED SHIRTS is one of the few tailor-made shirt manufacturers born in the USA that still upholds the classic shirt-making traditions of yesteryear.
It was founded in 1961 by Mr. John Laresca.
The 1960s in America was a time when individuals (individualized) stood up and asserted themselves against the state, beginning with the Civil Rights Movement and student movements, followed by women's movements and anti-Vietnam War movements.
All of America was brimming with energy, moving towards a new future.
In 1961, the year the young politician J.F. Kennedy became the 35th President of the United States, and the year Barack Obama, who would later become the first black president, was born in a hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii, a small custom-made shirt specialist opened in a certain port town in New Jersey. That was "INDIVIDUALIZED SHIRTS."
The history of menswear in America began with tailors, immigrants from Europe, making clothes, and later evolved into an era of mass production of ready-to-wear clothing by Brooks Brothers.
