Based on a shirt-fabric jacket from the 1960s.
A piece that achieves a relaxed yet not overly casual style.
It can be worn over a shirt, but also pairs well with a cut-and-sew, making it suitable for various occasions. It combines the sophistication of a tailored jacket with the casualness of a shirt jacket.
While retaining the relaxed feel derived from the workwear style of the traditional LOUNGER JACKET, the waist and armholes have been re-engineered to be sharper.
A new type of shirt jacket that has evolved into a more refined silhouette.

【INDIVIDUALIZED SHIRTS】
INDIVIDUALIZED SHIRTS is one of the few tailor-made shirt manufacturers born in America that still upholds the good old shirt-making traditions.
Founded in 1961 by Mr. John Laresca. In the same year that young politician J.F. Kennedy was inaugurated as the 35th President of the United States, and Barack Obama, who would later become the first black president, was born in a Honolulu hospital, a small custom-made shirt specialty manufacturer opened in a port town in New Jersey. That was "INDIVIDUALIZED SHIRTS."

For over 50 years, the company has proudly lived up to its name (Individualized Shirts = a shirt existing for only one person) and has never forgotten the traditional American Ivy League shirt-making tradition, establishing itself as the top share holder in tailored custom shirts in the United States, providing shirts to presidents and numerous celebrities throughout history.
