【INDIVIDUALIZED SHIRTS】
INDIVIDUALIZED SHIRTS is one of the few tailor-made shirt manufacturers born in America that continues to uphold the shirt-making traditions of yesteryear.
It was founded in 1961 by Mr. John Laresca.
The 1960s in America was a time when individuals rose up and asserted themselves against the nation, starting with the civil rights movement and student movements, followed by women's movements and anti-Vietnam War movements.
All of America was brimming with energy, heading towards a new future.
In 1961, when young politician J.F. Kennedy became the 35th President of the United States, and Barack Obama, who would later become the first black president, was born in a Honolulu hospital in Hawaii, a small custom-made shirt specialist opened in a certain port town in New Jersey. That was "INDIVIDUALIZED SHIRTS".
The history of men's clothing in America began with garment making by European immigrant tailors, and later transitioned to an era of mass production of ready-to-wear clothing by Brooks Brothers.
