These shoes combine a classic moccasin construction with the open lacing characteristic of blucher shoes. They offer both a comfortable, foot-hugging fit and easy on/off.
The upper is made of pull-up leather or suede.
Pull-up leather develops variations in color and a natural sheen with wear, giving each pair a unique look.
The suede used is also carefully selected, high-quality material, known for its soft texture and elegant appearance.
The construction utilizes a traditional moccasin structure, hand-sewn by skilled artisans.
This construction provides a gentle, foot-hugging fit and high durability.
The lining is leather, and the insole features Quoddy's original cushioning, ensuring comfortable wear from the start.
Other features include rust-resistant lacquered eyelets and rawhide laces for stable fit adjustment.
The outsole uses Quoddy's rubber wedge sole, which offers excellent grip.
Furthermore, the sole can be replaced, allowing for long-term use with proper maintenance.
Each pair is handmade in Maine, USA, reflecting exceptional craftsmanship.
