A brand created by Italian designer Klaus Plank.
The brand name is a combination of the German words "Berg", meaning "mountain", and "fabel", meaning "story".
The designer was born and raised in the Tyrol region near the border between Italy and Austria, surrounded by the great outdoors. He uses carefully selected raw materials and textiles to create his products, incorporating the clothing culture and traditions of the local people.
New items are added little by little each season, and are created under the designer's constant eye in collaboration with a limited number of people.
