Located near the Brittany region in northwestern France, BOSABO is a brand that has passed down traditional craftsmanship through four generations over approximately 120 years since its establishment in 1890.
BOSABO means "cute clogs" in French.
Clogs were originally shoes worn by European farmers for farm work, and BOSABO's origins began with the first generation carving wooden shoes from a fallen tree while moving from farm to farm.
In addition to wooden shoes, which were continuously produced until 1970, the fourth-generation Joël studied at a French shoemaking school. While prioritizing comfort, he began to create shoes more as fashion items, attracting attention from new generations.
