[Item details]
Movies have a big influence on our designs. This design was inspired by movies such as "The Grand Budapest Hotel," "The Shining," and "Eyes Wide Shut," as well as the lives of artists based in the hotel. Elements of the hotel, such as the keys and "Do Not Disturb" signs, are incorporated to express the hotel in its own way. The fictional hotel "St. Denis" is named after the building where our first studio was located. This collection features embroidery with people and objects that you would find in the St. Denis hotel.

Based in Los Angeles, Samuel Zelig pays tribute to American sportswear and workwear from the 1930s to 1950s and develops products that reinterpret them using modern techniques. All items by Samuel Zelig are Made in the USA.
