Seventy Five is an artisanal fashion brand founded by Janny Jingyi Ye.
All design, creation, and production take place in their North London studio.
Seventy Five considers what contemporary Chinese fashion looks like, rooted in the history of Chinese aesthetics, expressing Chinese aesthetics and identity by combining historical photographic records, magazines, illustrations from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and our own family history through family photographs and oral histories.
Seventy Five incorporates the philosophy of slow fashion into its practice. They use vintage and upcycled fabrics, employ natural dyes in-house, utilize ethically sourced materials, and produce long-lasting garments. In doing so, they strive to create clothes that endure as long as the people and memories that inspired them.
