Corgi Hosiery is a knitwear manufacturer founded in 1893 in South Wales, UK.
At the time of its founding, the main industry in Wales was coal mining, and Corgi began manufacturing handmade socks with the desire to provide warm long socks for the workers there.
From 1960, they began producing hand-frame intarsia knitwear, later adding cashmere, which gained recognition from luxury Parisian maisons.
In 1988, Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales, granted Corgi Hosiery a Royal Warrant for his continuous use of their knitwear and socks for 10 years.
While most manufacturers mass-produce using machines, Corgi Hosiery still maintains its commitment to handmade craftsmanship.
