【FilMelange】
A premium cut-and-sew brand that started with the Autumn/Winter 2007 collection. "FilMelange" is a coined word combining "Fil" (thread) and "Melange" (mixed colors). With "lightness, warmth, and soft touch" as its three key tenets, the brand continues to create products with the simplest possible approach, without going against the laws of nature. They actively incorporate organic materials, use 100% cotton thread for all seams, and proudly continue fabric production using "loopwheel knitting machines," of which only a few remain in Japan since the 1950s.
