This jacket is crafted from a special fabric selected from the "New Fine Worsted" collection, representing the esteemed British mill Dugdale Bros & Co.
Featuring the crispness and resilience of high-twist yarn combined with the airy breathability characteristic of plain weave, it offers both beautiful drape and superior shape retention.
The fabric is woven with a delicate tonal pinstripe that changes its appearance depending on the light.
This exclusive fabric is available at only four select retailers worldwide. While each shop chooses its own styles, MAIDENS SHOP has selected two pieces that are synonymous with Lea Boberg: the "RPL BLAZER" and "DP TROUSERS."
The RPL BLAZER, in particular, is a signature model that maximizes the rich drape of this fabric.
It features a double-breasted design with peak lapels and a four-button front with a concealed placket.
Named "R.P.L" (Raw Peak Lapel), it is characterized by the raw-edge detailing extending from the lapel to the front line.
The design captures the distinctive atmosphere of a London-based independent brand.
The fit follows traditional British tailoring with a forward-set shoulder construction.
While the shoulder area is compact, ample volume from the chest to the hem creates a three-dimensional silhouette with room for air to circulate between the body and the garment, resulting in a beautiful drape.
The shoulder line is swept back from the neck to the sleeve to ensure freedom of movement while emphasizing a sharp impression when viewed from the front.
The pockets are integrated into a single panel extending from the underarm, resulting in a minimalist design with no visible stitching on the front.
