【LAFABLIGHT】
A 5mm thin board with numerous slits and fine ropes interwoven through it. With its warm material feel and simple construction, "LAFABLIGHT," a new brand born in France in 2021, displays an original and cool expression depending on the frame's shape and the ropes' intersection.
Committed to being "Made in France," the materials are sourced from trees such as oak, poplar, and beech, which grow in forests about 200 kilometers west of Paris. Due to the need to assemble with precise tension adjustments, domestic furniture workshops carefully handcraft each piece, including assembly and rope weaving.
While the shades come in five basic shapes, by changing the rope arrangement patterns to create complex geometric designs, a total of 60 patterns are available. The silhouette changes when the light is on and when it is off. Another feature is that it shows various different expressions depending on the viewing angle.
