Handmade pottery made in Patagonia.
The vibrant colors are unique and are created when the metallic components in the glaze react with oxygen in the air. The glaze itself is made from soil from the Patagonian mountains and is fermented for two to three months before use.
The Raku ware used in this pottery was brought to Patagonia by a Japanese woman who traveled there in the 1970s, and is still used today by her disciples.
Each bowl has a different finish, making it a striking piece that can be used not only as a tableware but also as an accent piece in a space.
