Each piece of handmade pottery is made by hand in a workshop in Patagonia.
The vibrant colors are a natural result of the metallic components in the glaze reacting with oxygen in the air. The glaze itself is made from soil from the mountains of Patagonia and is left to ferment for several months before being finished.
This series is still produced by local artisans, who inherited the Raku ware technique introduced by a Japanese woman who traveled to Patagonia in the 1970s.
HIGH has an impressive vertical silhouette, and it brings a strong presence to any space, whether as a vase or an object.
As the name ONE OF A KIND suggests, each piece is special and has a different look.
