Handmade pottery, each piece molded and fired in a workshop in Patagonia.
The vivid colors are a natural result of the metal components in the glaze reacting with oxygen, and the glaze itself is made from fermented soil from the Patagonian mountains.
Local artisans have inherited and continued to produce these pots based on the Raku ware technique, which was introduced to them by a Japanese woman who traveled to Patagonia in the 1970s.
The slender form unique to LONG makes it a striking piece both as a vase and as an object, and as the name ONE OF A KIND suggests, no two pieces are the same.
