【OLDMAN'S TAILOR】
OLDMAN'S TAILOR was founded in 2001 by husband and wife Yuji and Toku Shimura. Based in Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture, it began as Toku's family's silk weaving business. The yarn production utilizes the abundant spring water flowing from Mt. Fuji, and the fabrics are woven on traditional shuttle looms. The Shimuras, who have a deep knowledge of European antiques and vintage clothing, especially British ones, create collections that are based on traditional British style and evoke a classic atmosphere, yet incorporate modern details and silhouettes, gaining many fans.
