A shower sandal-type design that holds the instep with a wide single piece of leather, without a thumb loop.
A solid appearance with all unnecessary elements removed.
The "arch support" (the raised part of the arch of the foot), which can be called the brand's signature,
is initially a thick leather sole that feels firm, but as you wear it, it sinks to fit the shape of your foot, transforming into an amazingly snug, exquisite fit.
This is a pair where you can truly experience firsthand why it's called "the Rolls-Royce of sandals."
The upper covering the instep uses high-quality leather that is tough yet conforms well. As you wear it, it develops a deep character and beautiful luster, and unique wrinkles are etched into it.
The outsole has a built-in Birk sole, providing high cushioning, and can be worn for 10 or 20 years with sole replacements.

Jutta Neumann is a New York-based brand that creates handmade leather sandals and leather accessories by a female artisan from Germany. In the 1980s, she moved from Paris to New York and trained for six years under Barbara Shaum, who was making leather sandals in New York. In 1994, she became independent and started her own brand. All sandals and accessories are still handmade in the New York workshop by Jutta Neumann, her son, and a few artisans.
The arch support (the bulge of the arch of the foot), which is bent by hand one by one, will conform to your foot with use.
